ORANGE SUNSET

Suddenly was the sky above my head burning.
The scenery was overwhelming.

Sunset is a rare commodity here this winter due to fog and clouds.
I had to run home to pick up my camera!

The sun was falling rapidly and I am glad
I managed to catch the last lights.

Then I had to find back home in the deep, deep darkness.

  1. That is awesome sun set. Now when the days are little longer it is possible too see these sun sets again and it is so welcome after all the darkness. Are those lines from airplanes, looks there is traffic jam:)

  2. Yes Henrietta, the lines are from the airplanes.

  4. I'm glad you got your camera in time. That's a fantastic sunset.

To answer your question on mine, we are not in spring yet but have had some unusually warm days. It's getting cold again so I took advantage of the warm days. The bad thing is when the plants get mixed signals and think it's spring and then get hit by really cold weather.

  5. Hej Randi,
Hoppas din tur till Köpenhamn var underbar!
    Härlig solnedgång!

  6. Ruben, jag har inte behövt öka mättnaden. Har aldrig upplevt något liknande- det var mycket värre en 1/2 timme tidigare. Hela himlen var då orange med massor av spår från planen.

  7. Not completely sharp and in focus, but quite a lot of drama in the sky!

  8. Beautiful and possibly rare?? Our days are longer now and I swear in the middle of today's high wind I smell spring.

  27. Is that for real? Looks like the spirit of an abstract painter like Martin Bush came to do your sky! Very unique, with those blazing jet trails.
