A FAVORITE IN MY GARDEN
My Helleborus are blooming during the whole year.
Though buried under the snow,
they survive to push flowers up through the last vestiges
of winter´s grasp to bloom in different shades.
They are planted outside my entrance
to be fully appreciated the whole year.

Grass is green and flowers bloom.
Birds are returning
from the south.
Bees are buzzing all about
and leaves are budding everywhere.
My magnolia is soon ”ready”!

MIRACLE IN MY GARDEN
This is the miracle of my spring garden.
Pear, peach, plum and apple blossoms make
spring a wonderful moment in my garden.
I just love these little blossoms.
It´s a sure sign that spring has finally arrived.

BLOOMING IN MY GARDEN NOW
Christmas Rose
My collection of Hellebores are planted in humus-rich soil in the shade.
These plants are producing scads of seedlings.
I prune my plants now to knock back the old growth
to allow the new flowers show off.

Scientists have discovered that the abundance of some
species has declined by as much as 96%
over as little as two decades.
