I love this open landscape. 

I have been living in big cities where the skies 

were always dirty...and always so far away.

Here is the sky bright and close! And it´s everywhere!

I feel so free here and when I

 keep my head high...I can touch the sky.

Scania (Skåne) is the southernmost province in Sweden.

It is known for it´s open landscapes and rich agricultural fields, 

it´s old history, long beaches and Danish heritage.

Scania has 240 castles and country estates - 

more than any other province in Sweden.

MY SECRET WORLD

My garden is hiding behind high hedges

and I love this isolated little world.

It changes every day -

new flowers turn up and some disappear.

My rose garden is now filled with blooming roses.

Don´t forget to stop and smell the roses!

VIEW FROM MY ROOM

The sunset can play with a variety of shapes and colors here.

My skylight is the best place to watch it and I love the view from my hill.

TODAY´S FLOWER IN MY GARDEN

Här har det regnat hela Midsommar-helgen.

Jag ska i alla fall inte klaga, eftersom det har varit sååå torrt i jorden.

Nu händer det mycket i trädgården. 

Jag har bråttom varje morron att springa ut och kolla vad som har hänt.

Varje dag får jag njuta av nya blommor, som tar scenen i besittning.

Mest orolig är jag för rosorna. De är inte att lita på alls!!!

Men ännu så länge har de skött sig, vilket innebär att de inte 

drabbats av något elände;  svartfläcksjukan, rosrost, eller mjöldagg mm.

AN OLD FISHING VILLAGE

Skillinge Fishing Village, South of Sweden

This little village once had one of the largest fishing fleets in Sweden.

Today it´s a picturesque little unique village with lots of activities.

This is also a place for bird lovers.

I love the view from the harbour and on a clear day I can

see the Danish Island of Bornholm.

Skillinge är en unik liten by jag gärna och ofta besöker.

Jag älskar att promenera i de smala gränderna och

njuter av de gamla, vackra husen

och trädgårdarna är helt bedårande.

Min favoritplats är nog i hamnen och där finns

en fin hamnkrog med fantastisk utsikt över havet.

Hittills har de bara flugit förbi och "hamnat" på bilden.

Den här modellen var samarbetsvillig och poserade villigt.

Tyvärr är inte alla fåglar lika tjänstvilliga...suck...
