SPOTTED BEAUTY

Today I feel the need to post a warm and cheerful photo.

The weather has been really tough lately.

Snow and ice conditions make life difficult here.

Train and buses have been cancelled, roads have been closed,

lots of car accidents have been reported.

Yesterday when I visited the harbour of Kåseberga

one of the fishing boats had sunk during the night.

The pressure of the ice made a big whole on her port side.

I really hope she will soon recover!

MY WORLD

Cold, windy and snowy weather chills the south coast of Sweden now.

It´s difficult to imagine that people will jump into the water

from this swim pier in a couple of months.

Jag har aldrig frusit så mycket, som jag gör nu här nere.

När jag bodde i Stockholm upplevde jag aldrig kylan på det här sättet

trots att det ofta var fler minusgrader där, än vad vi har i Skåne.

Här är kylan rå, fuktig och isande kall p.g.a. de hårda havsvindarna,

som sveper in över åkrarna.

Min längtan efter våren förstärks för var dag som går!
